Preparing for a Spanking Party

I am an expert travel packer. I don’t mean that as a brag, but I travel a fair amount and I’ve put a lot of research and effort into perfecting my system. I can pack for 5-8 days in a carry on, if necessary, but I obviously prefer not to. The Oasis spanking party was in February in Las Vegas (it takes place twice a year over President’s Day weekend and Labor Day weekend) and I attended for the second (err, third, but we won’t talk about that) time and had a great time. This time I also vended ebony hairbrushes at a table primarily for my friend Alex and her venture, NS Mercantile, selling vintage spanking implements – primarily pervertables. I share Alex’s love for all vintage spanking implements, but my personal interests are focused on hairbrushes – ebony and otherwise. I helped her with her stuff and added several of my own brushes to the count. However, this post will focus on getting ready for a spanking party. I get a LOT of questions about this. One of them is about packing and what to bring.

A Vegas Birthday – Part 2

Yes, yes, this is where I talk about the birthday spanking I got from my good friend Chris, who made the trek all the way from Southern California to spend time with me and beat me. We had a really lovely brunch and then headed upstairs to play. Elle joined us for some socializing first while A and K dispersed to the casino. Eventually, Elle left and we got down to business. We had last played nearly a year ago when I went to SoCal to see them and some other friends, and although I don’t have the best associations with that trip for other complex reasons, I was eager to get back over Chris’ knee. Note: there are spanking photos and a video in this post, after the jump.

Bonus: I was on a podcast!

Oh oh oh! Also! In addition to my book round ups, I started the year off with a fun project, recording a podcast episode with the lovely folks at Sips and Smacks, on – among other topics – vintage ebony hairbrushes. Rex and Adalia were a lot of fun to chat with and I felt like I could have talked to them for hours. As it was, I talked for an hour with them! I am feeling very self-conscious about my rambling and hearing my voice on an audio recording like this, but I’ve been told I did a good job so I am choosing to believe that.

If you want to listen, you can do so on their website (linked above) or anywhere you typically listen to podcasts, or at Apple Podcasts.

I’d love to hear what you think!
