My Bottom Smarts Blog – Bonnie has been blogging for…ever? Since 2005! I stumbled upon her blog for the first time in 2006 or 2007, during my lurking days – which apparently have never ended. As of December 2024 and 19 years of blogging, Bonnie has posted a farewell.
Laura’s Spanking Corner – this is no longer updated, but has stories of every orientation and by more than a dozen writers, primarily from the Usenet days. Experiencing a loading issue as of February 18, 2025, but the current caretaker knows and is working on resolution. Direct story links still work, especially if you google.
Saint Francis School for Girls, Mary Catherine – MC has always been one of my favorite spanking writers and has a prolific story history; she was a contributor to the SSS Usenet group and has built an amazing work at Saint Francis for MC and her dean!
Emma X Stories Blog – Emma writes F/F stories but also blogs about various topics and RL experiences and I really enjoy her insights! Has a Patreon!
The Shadow’s Play Blog – a lot of great spanking stories, she also has a Patreon
Paul @ Northgare Blog – rarely updated but worth the read, both kink & not
Falls Chance Ranch – these are M/M oriented stories with a LOT of plot and background info provided – they are provided in book format here or via a blog here. They are about a group of poly gay cowboys who rehabilitate burned out CEOs.
Firm But Fair Stories Blog – Clay is a great writer and I am enjoying his stories. I am particularly fond of this one.
Woodsy’s Blog – there’s spanking here, yes, and amazingly literary and poetic at that, but more importantly, there is life
Finding Strength in my Submission – Nora’s explorations in D/s both with her spouse and other partners, fiction, and other well-articulated writing
Jay Elise Writes – smut, musings, a blog worth checking out
Oak & Pine Spanking Stories & Roleplay Community – school based stories and a role-play community!
Discipline & Redemption: Snape’s Guiding Hand – a Harry Potter/Snape fanfic by CSCooper90 on AO3, one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read (not that I am personally a connoisseur). At the time I am listing it here (January 2025) it has 40 chapters.
The Lion & the Snake – another Harry Potter/Snape fanfic with a slightly more involved plot, and two parts, by Ttime42 on AO3; Part 1 is The Drought of Asphodel (complete, with 17 chapters) and Part 2 is The Elixir of Amaranth and currently ongoing with updates and stands at 19 chapters (January 2025)
The Coyote’s Den – YLeeCoyote has been posting spanking stories since the dawn of time…ok ok, but he goes way back to the early Usenet days and I enjoyed his stories then and over the years – and archives until they went down! He’s back, though, and worth checking out the extensive archive he’s kept (and adding to!)
