Last week (err a few weeks ago…errr a few months ago, sorry!!) I got back from a solo trip I took to the Netherlands that I have had planned since our mini-getaway in July. A scene friend planned a small house party to celebrate her 30th birthday and I accidentally invited myself. Whoops. Hey, she was amenable! I tacked on a few days at the beginning and end, for my first ever European solo travel. I spent the first 3 days in Amsterdam, the weekend in a small town to the north of Amsterdam, and the last 2 days in Haarlem. It was cup filling and fun and full of spanking! Note: there are lots of photos after the jump – both vanilla and kink.

Bonus: I was on a podcast!
Oh oh oh! Also! In addition to my book round ups, I started the year off with a fun project, recording a podcast episode with the lovely folks at Sips and Smacks, on – among other topics – vintage ebony hairbrushes. Rex and Adalia were a lot of fun to chat with and I felt like I could have talked to them for hours. As it was, I talked for an hour with them! I am feeling very self-conscious about my rambling and hearing my voice on an audio recording like this, but I’ve been told I did a good job so I am choosing to believe that.

I promise, I am alive! November was busy with Thanksgiving plus my work end of year party and swag event (I am in charge of that!) plus all the “life” stuff going on. I have SO MANY posts in the works for the end of the year and the new year. I’m sorry they’ll be posted in a bit of a rush, but I want to get them in.
