I’m alive and well – and well-spanked for what it’s worth. Had the best punishment-vibes spanking from a dear friend on Saturday. I still have tender bruises today! So. A few of the ideas I got recently from Fetlife AMA are: advice to newcomers, including ideas about attraction and body image (this is the post I am currently working on); bratting vs disrespect, healthy banter, etc.; navigating balancing parenthood & kink needs/wants; how the spanking community has changed/things that I like/dislike about it. These are big topics, but feel free to use the AMA for any question you might have (someone once asked my favorite noodle!). If they’re inappropriate, I won’t answer them and on Fetlife, I’d report you.

Hi, Marie! I would love to read a post by you on bratting vs. disrespect. My sassy mouth continues to get me into trouble with Sir, who has zero tolerance for bratting. I would also love to hear your thoughts on how the spanking community has changed, that sounds very interesting to me. Glad to hear you got your bottom spanked recently 🙂

I really don’t like punishment, Jon, despite how much I fantasize about it. I DO like having someone monitor my behavior though and hold me accountable, pushing me to be my best self.
There’s something so…comforting? hot? affirming? about being held accountable or being truly seen by someone else. I often describe it as an arousal that’s contained in my head. During, I may physically be aroused, but I am not thinking of what’s happening in a sexual way. AFTER, later, the next day, week, month, year? Oh yes. But discipline/punishment are very real and personal things for me that are meaningful above and beyond their links to my sexuality.
I suppose it comes down to the question of when you are “aroused.” Before? During? After? From what you say, it would be before and after but never during. You’re the only one who knows that part. Well, you and your Sir know it. 😈
