I want to start a weekly discussion series with polls. Well, it may not always be a poll, because I imagine most of it will be open ended and discussion based and unable to be reduced to a poll. But for this first one, we’ll go ultra basic!
I think it’s probably obvious for me: an ebony hairbrush. Though belts are quite present, as well!

I went for hairbrush, but my second choice would probably be the cane – so many school-y fantasies and the best marks!
The cane really does leave delicious marks when used properly!
Definitely a belt! But I’ve never been spanked with a hairbrush. Now I find myself wondering what I’ve missed…

I think lighter weight cheaper hairbrushes probably feel like lightweight paddles, but the kind I “like” – ebony ones – feel so dense and deep while also stinging viciously.

I do love the domestic and personal feel of using a sub’s own hairbrush on their bottom. Every time they brush their hair they will remember what it was used for and will be again. Let’s be honest, lessons learned are for the short term. A spankee, sub, etc will always find themselves back over the knee of their top getting a richly deserved comeuppance. Right?
There’s just something about the sound of leather on a bare bottom that fills a nice appetite in me. Recently, I got a great leather tawse and it does a good deal of ouchie even from otk. The leatherworks place is even called OTK Leatherworks of Texas. It’s a three-tongued affair. There’s also the enjoyment of just using “daddy’s belt” to teach a wayward sub or spankee better manners or just because.
Floggers are also a lot of fun, too. From massage to a good whipping, they have multiple uses.
I do think there’s a slight difference between those who are into impact play vs those who identify as spankos, so this was definitely geared towards that demographic given my own proclivities, but floggers can be delightfully thuddy which is very nice, especially since they can be used safely on most of the body.
Ooooh! That’s a hard one! I was tempted to say hand, since it almost always shows up in every fantasy I’ve had as either role. Hairbrush is also a good contender for the same reason. However, both because of my own love for them, and the rush I got from learning how to use them correctly, to the point that even thinking of them, I get that immediate full system thrill, belts/straps immediately take this one! They’ve become my trademark for a reason 😅
Everything truly does come back to the hand, of course – I wonder if I should have declared that and made it a non-hand implement poll? I suppose hand feels like a “duh” for me, but I do think there are probably some people who ONLY like hand spankings.
