A Little November Vignette

This popped into my head today when chatting with a friend about how vintage Bakelite/celluloid hairbrushes have a 50s/60s mom vibe.

They have such a domestic mom tone. Very suburbanite.

A mom who is just really fed up with your attitude, young lady! And is just going to snatch your arm and smack the shit out of your bottom and thighs.

Or something like that. Not my vibe, but a vibe.

Ko-Fi Link Added

A *slight* interruption to my October micro short story challenge, to say that I have added a Ko-Fi link to the footer of the blog. Ko-Fi is a way you can financially support the blog if you’d like. No one should feel obligated to, but I’ve had some folks ask so I decided to do it and felt it was a better option than something like a Patreon – for now.

I also put together an Amazon Wishlist – my birthday is in early January! I will add these links to my about page, as well, for anyone who wants to find them easily.

I hope you’re enjoying my micro fiction! I am working on some regular posts for November and have even gotten back into my Lending a Hand story.
