I am…woefully behind, I know. I have another post ready to go that I’ll try and work on tomorrow, but I am currently on a layover in the Dallas airport on my way to Las Vegas for this years Labor Day Oasis Spanking Party. Wish me luck. I’m anxious as fuck, dealing with big feelings, and convinced I won’t play at all. July was a busy month for me, reading (or listening) wise. Part of that is because I listened to another entire series by CJ Archer – her Necromancer series. It wasn’t nearly as gruesome as I was expecting and included some fun pop culture things. To my surprise when I started, it had ten books! But it was good and Archer’s writing is easy distracting listening for me. I also tackled a “classic” that I’d never read – Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea! It was…a lot. But not bad – good story but holy droll writing at times.

GUEST POST: The Prettiest, Smartest, Most Darling Girl in the Whole Wide World on Brats/Bratting
One of the best conversations that came out of my Bratting blog, was with a newer scene friend of mine, Vee. She’s a lot of fun to chat with and I have enjoyed engaging in teasing banter with her – for her kink, she enjoys because embarrassed, teased, and bullied within that context. My bratting blog sparked a really interesting conversation between us that actually clarified a lot for me about her kink and who she is, and it was one I really enjoyed. We joked about her writing a “response” of sorts and she actually wrote it! I think this is a fun dive into an alternate view on brats, bratting, and a manifestation of that mindset that is fascinating to me. I obviously don’t personally relate to this, but it should be clear by now that my favorite topic is discussing the manifestations and intellectual perspective on how our specific fetish exists within us and being able to articulate that like Vee has, is special indeed. It took me a long time to make it through this post, for complicated reasons. One is that I know I am going to piss some people off. That’s ok, but it’s a bit exhausting to do so. The other is that the original format linked to some other blogs and mentioned some interactions with people that I do not currently feel able to freely write about, and frankly, that pisses me off. I am exhausted by not being able to write what I want, how I want to write it, and in a way that is most meaningful to me. So I had to reformat this and I didn’t like that and I was mad about it and thus, it took me months to write. I’m not sure I like the final form now and I may edit it once it’s posted, but here it is.
