Some comedy for you. I had an incredibly difficult day and needed some levity.

“It’s just a fucking avocado! Ow!”

Beth squealed and kicked as the wooden spoon fell rapidly on her upturned bottom.

“It is not just an avocado! It’s a delicate, single-seed berry with an expertly timed ripening window!”

“Don’t be ridiculous. We can just buy a new one!”

“Yes, I can. You can’t be trusted not to buy one we could play baseball with.”

The last flurry of swats fell onto her sit spots before Mark let her up from the table. She was rather flustered and squirmy as they returned to their avocado-less taco night.
