September Book Round Up

I am SO BEHIND. But I am catching up in the New Year, after a lovely birthday trip to Las Vegas (yes, yes, I’ll post about it, and also all the other posts!) But here’s the first of many – my much promised, and much delinquent, September book round up. For what it’s worth, my final total for the year was 123! The August Book Round Up

Well, August was a slightly slower month for books – not for any nefarious reason, really. Part of that is because I listened to another entire series by CJ Archer – her Necromancer series. It wasn’t nearly as gruesome as I was expecting and included some fun pop culture things. To my surprise when I started, it had ten books! But it was good and Archer’s writing is easy distracting listening for me. I also tackled a “classic” that I’d never read – Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea! It was…a lot. But not bad – good story but holy droll writing at times.
